+Using Modem

  1. Insert XL Internet Broadband starter pack card into the Modem
  2. Insert modem to notebook or PC
  3. Make sure modem is plugged in properly
  4. Make sure your GPRS/UMTS/HSDPA/WCDMA signal appears on the computer screen
  5. Choose Tools – Options – Profile Management
  6. Complete this data:
    • Profile Name : XL Broadband
    • APN : Choose static
    • Type xlunlimited
    • Dial Number :*99#
    • Username :[leave blank]
    • Password :[leave blank]
  7. Click OK

+Using Handphone

  1. Choose Menu > Services> Option
  2. Choose Setting > Default Access Point.
  3. Use default setting.

    Enter parameter GPRS:

    • Connection name : XLBroadband
    • Data bearer : GPRS
    • Access Point Name : xlunlimited
    • User name : [leave blank]
    • Prompt Password : No
    • Password : [leave blank]
    • Authentication : Normal
    • Connection security : off
    • Session Mode : permanent

    Press:Option > Advanced Setting, and enter this parameter:

    • Phone IP Address : Automatic
    • Primary Name Server : 0.0.0.0
    • Secondary Name Server : 0.0.0.0
    • Proxy Server Address : 202.152.240.50
    • Proxy Port Number : 8080

      without username & password.

Click ‘Detail’ and see your modem setting


You can choose to set Radio Network 3G / 3.5G only, to avoid your network switching to 2G or GPRS network. Please be aware if you chose 3G only, you can’t perform login at GPRS network. How to Set is located in “Menu” > “Setting”



How To Connect

 

Click “Connect” to connect you with XL Internet


Often you need a strong signal and IMEI data. Type a to report your problem so it will appear in XL customer contact service or find this data in “Menu” > “Information”


When there’s no traffic, TX Power will indicate a 0 (nil). The higher the number indicated in the Rx Power, the better it is to get the good connection. You can also check your network bar indicator (below -90 dBm).

  1. Inser XL SIM Card into the modem slot. Insert USB modem to your computer USB slot, wait until autorun is processing or double click SU-8100 setup.exe in the drive SU-8100U_MODEM in windows Explorer.
  2. Choose "I accept the terms of the license agreement ", then click "Next" to continue apps installation process.
  3. Wait until apps installation process is finished.
  4. Wait until driver modem installation process is finished.

Function of USSD menu:

  1. XL Internet Instan [volume base] registration service (press *123#, choose Murah>Paket Internet).
  2. XL Internet Unlimited (*868#) registration service.
  3. Credit check prepaid card (*123#).
  4. Check your billing statement (*108#).
  5. Check service type or stop subscribing.

Click “Setting>> USSD on USSD Comment then click "Send".

You can check the logs on connection by clicking "Setting >> conection log". XL will only record the last log recorded.


 

You can choose 3G/3.5G Network setting, to avoid your network switching to a 2G or GPRS Network. Please be aware when you set to choose a 3G only network you won't be able to login to the GPRS network. How to Set is located in "Setting>>Network Mode".
