XL BlackBerry FREE International Roaming Overseas

As a number 1 BlackBerry service provider in Indonesia, XL offers the first innovative service in FREE international roaming data facility for XL BlackBerry customer in 9 countries:

For XL BlackBerry Full Service Monthly and BlackBerry 3in1 Unlimited (Prepaid)

• Automatic International Roaming for the first 3 days of your stay (within the partnering country). A maximum of 3 visits within 30 days / month of usage is available after activating the service.
• Activating your international roaming service is free of charge
• Within the 4th days of your stay, a normal international roaming tariff will apply.

For XL BlackBerry Full Service Monthly and BlackBerry 3in1 Unlimited (Postpaid)

• Activate your free BlackBerry International Roaming facility during a 9 days of visit within (1) billing cycle and the same billing statement.
• For the 10th days, and forward, a normal roaming tariff will apply.
• Only available in the partnering countries.
• To activate this facility, new customer must:
  • Activate his/her Monthly BlackBerry Full Service or BB 3in1 using SMS

    • " BB(space)bulan " send to 568 for BlackBerry Full Service
    • " BB(space)BB 3in1" send to 568 for BlackBerry Full Service
    • Reply SMS notification: type Y send to 568
  • You will receive notification informing that your XL BlackBerry service will be active within 24 hours.
  • This BlackBerry Roaming service will be automatically de-activated when you return to Indonesia.

You are free to indulge in BlackBerry features deals when using Free BlackBerry Roaming, Features:

• Push Email
• Internet Browsing
• Instant Messaging (BlackBerry Messenger/BBM, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, Windows Live Messenger, dst)
• Social Networking (Facebook, Twiiter, MySpace, Flickr, dsb)

Choose Menu Option => Choose Mobile Network

YES is not recommended. If you choose YES network will automatically convert to other stronger network than the roaming partner’s network hence a normal tariff will apply when you are accessing data.

When you are still not receiving the Free XL BlackBerry Roaming service, you can register again by:

• *123*4*2*3# ( must be activated in Indonesia )
• Unplug the battery and reboot

Other terms

• Available starting from 13 October 2010 - 27 May  2012.
• The free roaming will be activated automatically when you are using BlackBerry Full Service Rp 99.000/mo and BlackBerry 3in1 Unlimited Rp 125.000/mo. (NO REGISTRATION)
• Free roaming will be deactivated when you’re credit is insufficient to extend the BlackBerry package.
• Free Roaming is calculated within a period of 1 month, after performing Location Update within the partnering country .
• When you visit a country other than the partnering countries, a normal tariff according to that country will apply.
• Free Roaming is calculated based on recurring daily usage
• When within one day you go to two countries, the charge will only be accounted for 1 day free roaming
• After using Free BB Roaming for 3 days, you will receive a SMS Offer to continue on with the program onto a pay per use BB Roaming with the following term :
  • SMS Offer sent 12 hour before Recurring.
  • Default SMS Reply is "Y".
  • If your answer is "Y" Recurring will be processed at 3.00 am.
  • When no reply, the system will asume "NO" and BB Roaming will be TAKEN-OUT when Recurring.

After “MANUAL” selected then select “NO” for Selected Automatic Mode When Manually Selected is not available.
