The XL Phonebook Backup Service is a feature that enabled customers to store all of their contact / phone number data in a personal storage that is located within the XL Network. By using the world wide XL network as storage, customers can retrieve any contacts they own from any cell phones just with a simple registration.

Having a back-up data stored in the XL network will save customers from the hassle of exchanging data from an old cell phone to a new one. Even better, customers can synchronize their XL Phonebook Backup data with more than one phone they owned.


+Security Warranty

Nowadays free backup data is commonly offered as a standard service by many cellular providers. But the services they offer have no warranty for the safety of customer's data which lead to misuse or manipulation as a major possibility. On the contrary, XL Phonebook is equipped with a security and encryption system that will guarantee the safety and privacy of customer's contacts/phonebook data.

  2. You will receive a text message confirmation with your Password and a download link to install the XL Phonebook client apps.
  3. How to configure your Backup Phonebook service

+Instructions for Handset that use Sync XL feature

  1. Registration
  2. You will receive a confirmation text message and further instructions.
  3. After following the instruction above. Go to the “Tools” or “Connectivity” Menu and click the Sync button. Find the “XL Phonebook” icon then click the option button and choose Synchronize

    For the first time, you have to store all of your contacts, calendar and tasks data in the XL Phonebook server. Customers are suggested to regularly synch their data with the server so they always have access to the newest data available.

  4. If you stumbled into a “Select access point” menu after Synchronize your data, choose the “XL GPRS” option.

Just FORWARD the MMS to 2665
