XL understands your flexible needs for dynamic live from time to time. XL provides you with communication services that cover your needs. These communication services are created just for you:

Conference Call

+ Conference Call

Having a conference talk with your 6 friends at the same time through your XL number? Sure can do! Please be aware that XL Conference Call service is enabled only if your phone has the Conference Call feature.

How to Use It:

  1. Call the 1st number, press 2 and Call/OK/Yes to hold calls
  2. Call the 2nd number, press 2 and Call/OK/Yes to return to the 1st person
  3. Press 3 Call/OK/Yes to start multiple calls/conference call.

+ Call Waiting

Call Waiting feature enables you to receive notification on incoming call while you are calling. Only one incoming call at a time to wait for the call.

Activate this feature directly from your mobile device menu (please refer to your mobile device manual book before activating).

+VOIP

Making a long distance call is getting more and more inevitable these days. Any business be it small or big must at least make one single long distance call at some point, to contact their clients, business partners or prospect customer, thanks to globalization. Long distance calls even contribute to the development of small cities in Indonesia to become more open and nationally acknowledge. XL offers affordable VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service to help you make your long distance calls.

 

+International calls

XL customer can make easy international calls by using these simple methods:

ToTo PSTN/Land Line.

Press 001 or 008 or + [country code] [city code] [designated phone number].

To Cellular Phone.

Press 001 or 008 or + [country code] [designated cell phone number without the 0]. International call tariffs and coverage is in compliance with Attachment 1 the Ruling of Ministry of Transportation No. 74 year 1998 dated 12 November 1998 about International calls service tariffs.

+Data and Fax

Enjoy the advantage of comfortably sending and receiving Data/Facsimili from every where in the world, as long as your local cellular operator is a partner of XL. To enable this service, your mobile device must already have the feature built in.

Data/facsimili and WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) facilities for XL Prepaid customer subject to subscription fee. Subscription fee is waved when customer is using the data facility for WAP only (not for facsimili).

XL Prepaid user can use this data send facility for WAP free of subscription fee.Sending fax and data subject to similar fee to calling rates. Receiving data is free of charge.

+CLIP, CLIR, and Call Forwarding

Find out who's calling you before answering the call.

Call Forwarding/CF

This feature enables you to forward calls to other numbers. You can choose from 4 different types of forwarding through your XL numbers:

  • Busy
  • Outside of coverage area
  • Unanswered calls
  • Forwarding all calls

CLI Restriction/CLIR 

This feature enables you to hide your identity as the caller. Receiver will not be able to see your number on his/her screen.

+VoiceMail Plus

Let XL VoiceMail help you keep and store messages for you while you're away, out of coverage area, or when your phone is switched off. XL VoiceMail Plus will forward the calls to VM System.
To deactivate, press #818# press Call / OK / Yes. To activate, press *818# press Call / OK / Yes.

The function :

  1. Acknowledge the message sender's number.
  2. Able to send voice message to multiple users within XL coverage area. You can send it on a desired time at your convenient.
  3. Forward a voice message you received to other party within XL coverage area on a desired time at your convenient.

How to accessL Card :

Press 88/888/88* Press Call / OK / Yes

Enter password number (or 1234) press * :

  1. Press 1 to listen to messages, then choose :
  2. Press 2 to reply message,
  3. Press 3 to forward message to other number,
  4. Press 4 to listen to message,
  5. Press 5 to delete message, or
  6. Press 6 to listen to the next message.

TO access from other mobile devices :

  1. Call 0818110088 (Xplor customer can access from your mobile device when you are overseas/international roaming : +62818110088)
  2. Enter your VoiceMail number of your XL number, press *
  3. Enter your password number (or 1234) press *.

Tips :

  1. For security purpose, please change 1234 to your private password
  2. It is best to listen to your voice mail messages thoroughly. All messages will be deleted automatically they are done. To keep the messages, press 4, to delete press 5.
  3. Delete insignificant messages to allow new messages in your inbox (maximum of 10 messages can be stored).

Notes :

Messages will be automatically deleted after 7 (seven) days specifically for Bebas & Jempol customers.

SMS

Send and receive SMS up to 160 characters from your mobile device.

The cause of your SMS is failed to be sent or received :

  • The designated mobile device is inactive.
  • Your mobile device Message menu is full.
  • You or your designated number is out of XL's coverage area.

Reading Your SMS.

  • You will see this notification on your mobile device: read message, message received, read SMS, etc when you receive a SMS. (Different brand will show different type of message)
  • To read, simply press Call / OK / Yes / Read.
  • Delete old messages in your mobile device regularly to allow new messages in your Inbox.

Sending Your SMS.

  • Type SMS directly from your mobile device.
  • Send to the designated number.
  • Each SMS sent will be charged a fee despite its status failed to send or not received by the designated number.
  • A tariff subjects to each SMS a maximum of 160 characters of 8 byte.

Basic SMS rates: :

Local SMS           : Rp 150/SMS*

International SMS     : Rp 350 – Rp 500/SMS (based on country SMS rates / please put link to SMS internasional section)

*In term of instructions issued by the Telecommunications Regulatory Agency of Indonesia (BRTI) about SMS Interconnection rates, it is hereby announced that a change XL retail rates for SMS text services to Rp 175 per SMS is applied to customers starting June 1, 2012.


Disclaimer :

XL as the cellular operator will send the SMS through its infrastructure forwarded through the XL SMS facility to the designated number requested by XL customer.

Information :

Changing your SMS Service Center while you are overseas is not necessary.

How to Send SMS to International Number

  • Type your message.
  • Send to your designated number
  • Press + [Country Code] + [designated number, without 0].

USSD Menu Browser

UMB or USSD Menu Browser.

A GSM network browser based using 3 digits code to dial (short dialing code =SDC), started with (*) ends with (#).
You can access various XL Prepaid features and services through *123#. Enjoy attractive package of calls, SMS, Internet, BlackBerry, Contents. Balance info, PUK and subsciption info are also available!

PIN dan PUK

PIN is deactivated for first time user of XL Prepaid card. To activate, please follow the instruction in your mobile device manual. Your starter PIIN is 1234.

If you enter the wrong PIN for 3 times in a row, your XL SIM Card will be blocked automatically.
You need your PUK (PIN Unblocking Key) number to unblock it. Contact our customer service at 818 (toll free) or at 021-579 59 818 to obtain the PUK number, or visit the nearest XL Center with your XL number and SIM Card number handy.

If you enter the wrong PUK number for 10 times, your XL SIM Card will be blocked permanently. You can replace your card with a new card, keep your number and subject to a certain fee and terms and condition.
